A common starling at rest on a branch — Plate. *Sturnus vulgaris*, at rest — the one, from which the many on the front page are made.

Starling Foundries is Cameron Sajedi's engineering practice. A decade-plus across distributed systems and scientific computing, currently concentrated on giving spatial data a trustworthy substrate. The practice maintains the Python rHEALPix reference implementation and has presented its work to the OGC Discrete Global Grid Systems Standards Working Group.
